Day 15 - SOUTH

South noun.
1.The direction along a meridian 90° clockwise from east; the direction to the right of sunrise.
2.The cardinal point on the mariner's compass 180° clockwise from due north and directly opposite north.
3.An area or region lying in the south

I'm facing North atop a mountain in Floyd VA;

to the SOUTH is North Carolina and beyond!

Day 14 - BLANKET

Blanket noun.

1.A large piece of woven material used as a covering
for warmth, especially on a bed.
2.A layer that covers or encloses

It's the middle of winter and my Angel needs her blanket to keep warm.

Day 13 - RUSTY

Rusty - adjective
1. Covered with rust; corroded.

An old plowshare has done its duty and is now enjoying a second lease on life as a yard ornament. 

Day 12 - PAIR

Pair - noun
1. Two corresponding persons or items, similar in form or function and matched or associated.

Two by two by two is how we start the day...

With two sinks, two cups, two cloths; two of everything.

Day 11 - UNDERNEATH

Underneath - noun

  The part or side below or under. Adjective: lower; under.

They stand, underneath the top floor, waiting to be called to do their part.

Day 10 - NOTE

Note - noun
1. A brief record, especially one written down to aid the memory; took notes in class.
2. A brief informal letter.

Each year, family members attending the Homecoming write down names of those they remember in the old family albums so that new generations can follow the family lines.

Day 9 - FENCE

Fence - noun

1. A structure serving as an enclosure, a barrier, or a boundary, usually made of posts or stakes joined together by boards, wire, or rails.

Because I have a pool in the backyard, we're required to build a six-foot privacy fence

 to hide the "attractive nuisance."
